If you could start your life again today, right where you are, but make any change without consequence, what change would you make?

There’s no way I would start this shit again.

I would have finished school sooner and not dated so many jerks 😅

All’s well that ends well lol..
akindheart · 61-69, F
i would not get married. i married the wrong person.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
I seriously can't think of anything I would change.
You would think I would change being bipolar but that actually, besides the down time, adds so much color to my life.
Life is anything but boring. I don't think I could do boring.

I had a serious arcade/electronics addiction when I was young. I spent every quarter I had and then stole money and sold whatever I could to feed my addiction.

I wish I could go back to those years and recoup all that time energy and expense. Such a waste
If I could wake up tomorrow with the exact same house and neighborhood makeup, in a warmer place, and have a job I actually like that pays well, that would be awesome.

I am waiting to start a new era for the world with new cashless monetary system... Consequence is eradication of poverty for the future..

What's the point of making a change without consequences, as in effects no change?
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@Northwest lol I knew someone would point that out. Just use your imagination a little bit, other people did a very good job. You can too.
Northwest · M
@AlchemyFox I've used my imagination and I've written a thesis around it eons ago. There is no such thing as making a change with no consequences.

I would probably not hang out with older kids at such a young age.. that’s when my drinking started and it snowballed into a shit circus
Invest every last penny I can as early as I can in real estate.

Long term it’s pure money to live freely off of

The only change I can think of is my approach to life
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@SW-User is that something you would change?
SW-User
@AlchemyFox For sure

Running away
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@Lostpoet you still can
Lostpoet · M
@AlchemyFox I'll still just run
Walk away at a point in time I stayed

Go to OCS when the offer came up. I'd be fat, happy and in DC cashing a nice check every month, instead of getting shots in my hips and knees..lol.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have stayed retired for so long. I still want to go back to work, but now there’s less time to really accomplish anything else. Before it was only limited by my ambition, now it’s my mortality. 😳
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard What would you do for work?
@AlchemyFox Receptionist, dispatch work, call center (these are all jobs I’ve done) and after updating my credentials, possibly substitute teaching, which is really needed here.

I am too old to make changes

dale74 · M
