@Callmewhatyouwill Nice. I'm thinking of getting back into traditional martial arts but we'll see. It's hard to find the time to do it because I'm one of those all in or no in type of person. I don't like half stepping. I actually did martial arts as a kid and had a black belt in Tae Kwon Do but I was like 12, and quit. I'm sure if I did it again I'd have to start over regardless.
@justicexoxoxo probably... Yea finding the time is hard. Where I go they offer classes everyday except Sunday. But because of the schedule I'm lucky to make it to 1 a week.

@Callmewhatyouwill Right. I became black belt fast when I was a kid because I went practically every day. It was fun. I remember breaking 2 thick boards with my foot. I was able to do a bunch of stuff I can't even fathom doing now without the risk of messing my back up because even when it's feeling good. I'm just one wrong movement away from messing it up again.

I did martial arts for quite a long time. I finally hung up my gi about ten years ago. A few years ago, I compacted my lower five vertebrae and trapped the sciatic nerve on my left side. I was in pure agony for the best part of two years.
Just over a year ago, I started training again. I've found that the stretching exercises and the general moves and postures of martial arts have helped phenomenally.
What martial art are you starting?

It's a mix of boxing, karate and judo, I have just signed my two daughters up so thought it would be good if I joined in with them. Went OK, hoping the physicality will lead to me having more movement
