Definitely 3, 5, 10, and 16

I've gotten better at 4, 7, 11, and 19

This is a cool list.

I find that we don’t get overwhelmed by a situation when we know the facts we have to deal with. And by knowing the facts, we are able to have a more systematic, step by step approach to any situation.

I always remind myself: “How to eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” 😁

Would you call yourself a decisive person?

@CookieCrumbs Yes, I'm definitely a decisive person. Most people like that about me and it's served me pretty well.

I agree with you, quite a bit, that overwhelming situations become less so the more we begin dealing with the facts. As a manager/leader, I've found I've increasingly had to first help people deal with their emotional response to a challenge so they can move on to the actual problem. They're almost always surprised that the situation isn't as bad as they'd feared. It's been very rewarding to help people acquire skills that lower their anxiety and strengthen their resolve.

It sounds like you're pretty decisive yourself. Or at least calm enough to take the first bite of elephant.
@syfy86
You explain this so well.
I think being decisive requires a certain kind of confidence to be wrong. Not wanting to be wrong, but being ready to face consequences and act on it.
