How can one understand themselves better?
In my relationship, he wants to get to know me and understand me, but he can't when I dont even know myself. Where do I begin?
We've all had different experiences in life so depending on those, we tend to takes things differently. You may seem to be expressing yourself as honest as you could to the other person but the other person may still get what you are doing or saying differently. This is exactly why words should come with action and vice versa, because when words are not enough to convey our thoughts and messages, that's were the actions that supports it comes in.

Understanding someone else takes time, even if you love them, it may take more time. Regardless of understanding, show him who you are, if he doesn't understand that, telling him, won't help either.
