This building was once a branch of the BUF, white nationalists who wanted to ally with the Nazis and send Britain down an evil path. But instead it鈥檚 owned by a Turkish family selling reasonably priced junk food. A vast improvement.

I never knew him but heard the stories about him. He was injured in the Great War and in the 20s and 30s was heavily involved in Trade Union activities. Including being front and centre at the Battle of Cable Street.
