The redifining of language for political purposes

I googled 'fuhrer' and i got an immediate dictionary pop up result defining it as something like 'a ruthless dictator'

No, 'fuhrer' translates as 'guide'. To this day, if you have a mountain guide take you walking up a mountain in germany, they would be called a 'bergsfuhrer'.

I dont know why new definitions need making up. A word has a meaning and thats it, thats its meaning.

maybe if you google non english words you should first learn to spell them right... its führer not fuhrer... then you get the actual meaning of guide and not the english bastardized version of the word which refers to hitler

@NoSugar yes I know it’s like that and the search brought up the way you spelt it with the dots, but my keyboard doesn’t do it for me and I couldn’t be bothered to copy and paste it the way with the dots. You know what I mean when I put it.

Keep seething

@pianoplayingsteve yeah i know... but google doesnt know. computers arent that smart... they need correct input to give correct output. and in your case google gave the correct output for your input... and thats not some agenda thing. you got exactly what you googled for.

@NoSugar you forgot to put the F in capitals and the dots are called umlaut 😆😇
NoSugar · 22-25, F
@revenant well i am not trying to make a point about some some redefining of language about some reasonign thats completely wrong. i am just to lazy to hit the shift key... which in this case not even matters since capital letters are ignored by google search... umlaute are not.... and just for reference. if you start using capital letters Umlaut has a capital letter aswell.
