Indoor plumbing is a fascination and a marvel really.. both hot and cold water from the turn of a faucet.. the engineering of dams many sacrificed and gave their lives towards building.. to better use water..
The fact we can have heated ways to bathe without gathering water from rivers and lakes in a basin over a fire..
The only other marvel I think we have is electric power.. we don’t use candelabras anymore to light a room but a single lightbulb can do the trick..
And yet they destroy dams.. they destroy what was built for energy.. idk, society is corrupt.. I marvel at the past people who showed ingenuity and desire to give these things to people.. and I detest the ones who have come into being by attempting to strip as much of it away as possible..
