If the majority of our time is spent looking at others, worrying, analyzing and policing their behavior, we will have little time for self awareness and improvement. Our own motivations/behavior. Or even projecting our faults onto others. We NEVER change or fix anything by concentrating on others (perceived) issues. Focusing there doesn't strengthen our own mental or emotional maturity and intelligence, it weakens it.

So true! And... we can be our own worst enemies and harshest critics, so being mindful of that as well is a good thing. I guess recognizing those patterns and learning from them is a way to deeper understanding. ☮️☯️
