Look within more often..

..may actually learn something.

If the majority of our time is spent looking at others, worrying, analyzing and policing their behavior, we will have little time for self awareness and improvement. Our own motivations/behavior. Or even projecting our faults onto others. We NEVER change or fix anything by concentrating on others (perceived) issues. Focusing there doesn't strengthen our own mental or emotional maturity and intelligence, it weakens it.

I've climbed out of that tunnel vision and finally see everything going on within and around.

@Spumoni Aw. Reality. It gives us less disappointment from expectation, don't you think?

@Magenta Very true. I find myself moving slower through the day, stopping to process it all

@Spumoni That seems like maturity to moi.
Just a little fantasy can help balance it out at times, yes? 🤭

@Magenta Yes! Lol!!! I'll never fully get away from the "what if" side of life. 😉😊

@Spumoni Indeed! Life and we humans certainly aren't one facet, one dimension. Fun and interesting to explore all of them. 😄

@Magenta I hope fantasy makes it's way back.
Magenta · F
@Spumoni Aw I hope so too. One never knows, keep the spark of hope alive. ⚡

@Magenta It's still there, just covered with other emotional distress. I'll be back to my normal, fantasy self again.
