Does it help?

I struggle with the urge, but never have. Does it help you feel better? What does it feel like emotionally?

When I was a teenager I had a really strong urge for it too but I never did. Later in life I started feeling a lot better and found how to like balance my stress and anxiety and the urge went away. Now I look back and am glad that I don't have the scars to remind me of it because that let me like close that chapter of my life.

But I have a friend who did self harm and now her life is much better, and she says that her scars help her appreciate that life got better because they remind her of how bad she used to feel.

I think that doing it only gives you like a short moment of feeling different but once you've done it you cannot undo that (that thought made me never do it), but from my friend i know that if you have done it there could be some value in that if you're open to see that.

It can help a lot if you have someone who you can talk to when you feel the urge, even if it's like in the middle of the night.

Stay strong, my thoughts are with you ❤
1. Self harm isn't fun (talking from experience)
How I felt emotionally afterwards, I was juat numb, it didn't really help with anything

2. Suicide is bad, you'll regret it (also talking from experience with attempted suicide)
I panicked so much when all the pills started to kick in (I attempted overdose) and before I knew it, I was out cold. I was so glad I somehow woke up the next morning because if it worked, my best friend wouldn't have known what happened until she'd get told by my family and then she'd feel guilty, thinking its her fault because she claims that she feels responsible for my happiness and mental well being

In short, please take care of yourself. Eat well, sleep well, drink plenty of water.

Anyways, byeee!!
