In general, interesting people are too busy to just message randoms over a photo.

perhaps you should just talk about interesting things. or explore around and find people who talk about things that interest you. complaining about everyone being boring isn't terribly conducive to conversation.

The best way to find people who are interesting to you is to either post about your interests or comment on other people's posts about theirs.

You'll find interesting people with the kind of content you post.
Don't rely on a picture because it will just bring a lot of unwanted attention.

Interesting people will find you by your words not your looks

There are plenty of interesting people (*hint*)! You do not need to post a picture because I think this site rewards you for the quality of what you write. Only put a photo out if you want to!
