I dislike the idea of 'destiny'; that implies the future is already set. If something else has already scripted your life, what's the point? Where's the fun in exploring?
Much prefer the concept 'there is no fate but what we make for ourselves'

@MarmiteFish9 I agree. I really feel that anyone who throws around fate or destiny are not thinking through it logically.

@LienOnYourDreams yes. Every decision/action has a consequence whether good or bad. Like ripples in a pond after you throw a stone. But something has to create the ripple.
