@Shayama wider. .so the ceiling feels a little lower, but lots more room, side to side. THe windows auto dim. The plane is really quiet too.. and not freezing.. but not warm either.

Yet DC 8 was known for a lot of technical issues

@Shayama My travels on DC8 was in the 1970's. The 747 and the L1011 are the biggest planes I've ever travelled on. When I was a kid, my dad owned a couple 2 and 4 seat single engine planes. That was actually more thrilling than the big ones! You could roll down the window and hang your elbow out like in a car!
