how do you handle the times when things 'aren't going your way'

It’s crucial not to focus on the frustration, unless you want to be 70 and that guy who still talks about things that happened when he was young.

You do the same things you do when you find your route blocked. Is there a way around it? Do you have to retrace your steps? What might happen if you do? Can you park and walk?

Annoyance is natural and human, but not productive. Addressing what is blocking you and why is productive.

this 2 shall pass😊😊😊 around a year ago I was also in a very tough place 😔😔😔, I had a very bad break up + my dad was diagnosed with stage 3 liver cirrhosis due 2 untreated hep b + my pet cat just passed away due 2 a clot in the brain 😞😞😞 while I nearly picked up binge drinking &smoking at the time 😬😬😬 (since I'm already a pretty good drinker & most of my bf & guy friends smoked), it was actually the many kind &lovely ppl on reddit that brought me outta the deep pit of hopeless & despair, especially the ppl on r/stoicism, r/decidingtobebetter & r/getmotivated, u got this!!! 🤗🤗🤗

Life hasn't gone my way in a long time, I guess I just roll with the punches

I don’t know of one single person for whom everything went their way…it’s not real life. Accept whatever comes, bc if u don’t accept reality, u’ll be miserable the rest of ur life.

I will stop and try to figure a different approach, I'll still be annoyed but my mind is working on a solution
