My bank doesn't have an ATM like that. I'm not sure if I would trust it, though. I'm pretty paranoid about privacy and security. I'm wondering if that happened because the amount was so high, given the check was over the limit your bank may have on that type of deposit. What do you think?

also depending on amount it may need 'authorization' as in a humanoid to validate the deposit so mr. atm was probably going 'i can't do this for you hooman you must see another hooman because i'm a machine i don't have this authority hoooman'.

you should be ok.

but do tell them about what happened.. just in case it is a glitch.

those POOR atms get beaten up and hassled then some people mess with them so they can steal your information.
