I Need Advice

Has anyone else had their female best friend tell you she loves you and you feel the same way about her but you are both married?
JennyGa · 46-50, F
Are you sure she didn't just say I love you as a friend?
JennyGa · 46-50, F
@BruceKentAllen Yes it is. You both have feelings for each other and have expressed it to each other. You should end the friendship immediately or something will eventually happen.
BruceKentAllen · 46-50, M
@JennyGa You would give up your best friend that easily? Its not that easy for me
JennyGa · 46-50, F
@BruceKentAllen what's more important? Your "friend" or your family

Thats so annoying & immature to tell a married man you love him. Feelings fluctuate, especially when youre close friends with the other sex. Tell her to focus on her relationship.

That's a tough situation. Are you both happily married?
BruceKentAllen · 46-50, M
@SW-User yep...pretty much. I'm happy but she's not real happy. But she loves him too much to leave him and I won't leave my wife either.

@BruceKentAllen Can you both agree to maintain a friendship only, in spite of your feelings for each other? Otherwise, it's likely that you'll have to go separate ways. My best friend and I remained just friends in spite of deeper feelings (years ago).

@SW-User thats the question I was hoping someone here had been through before and could tell their story

Just didn't know if anyone had been in the same situation and if they were able to remain friends
samanthabelle · 26-30, F
not since 13

@samanthabelle I know...its ridiculous to have this happen as an adult...but it happened. It just kinda sucks. We have both agreed to not act on these feelings.
