How does one relieve itchy feet?

Sunshine State yeah right; it downpoured 3 inches in half an hour today. My shoes got soaked, and my feet were soaking in dirty water for about an hour. Went home and immediately showered and all, and I put lotion on my feet and all, but the bottom of my feet is still very itchy. How do I relieve this itch?

Soak your feet in Apple Cider Vinegar and warm water. Rinse them in cold water.

Does it have to be Apple Cider vinegar? I have normal vinegar.

I don't think it makes a difference, this is a trick a vet told me to do to relieve my dog's itching. It worked really well, I put the solution in a spray bottle and saturated her and almost immediately the itching stopped. I think the Apple just smells better.

Have you done it on yourself? How did you know the dog wasn't itchy anymore o.O

BTW the cold water closes the pores of the skin.

But I took a really hot shower right afterwards

The cold water is going to feel really good. Cold also stops itching, like an ice pack. I have a med that makes me itch for an hour after I take it and never know where the itch is going to show up, so I wait for it and then put an ice pack on the area for a minute or so and the itch goes away.
