How does one relieve itchy feet?

Sunshine State yeah right; it downpoured 3 inches in half an hour today. My shoes got soaked, and my feet were soaking in dirty water for about an hour. Went home and immediately showered and all, and I put lotion on my feet and all, but the bottom of my feet is still very itchy. How do I relieve this itch?

Soak your feet in Apple Cider Vinegar and warm water. Rinse them in cold water.

I'm soaking my feet in some vinegar+hot water right now xD

The cold water is going to feel really good. Cold also stops itching, like an ice pack. I have a med that makes me itch for an hour after I take it and never know where the itch is going to show up, so I wait for it and then put an ice pack on the area for a minute or so and the itch goes away.
PacingCircles
bleach and water

Thanks. I hope it's not a fungal infection. That'd suck.
PacingCircles
Yes it would.

And it's likely to be. Yesterday at the UF tour, it wouldn't have been as bad, since it's not as big of a cesspool as my high school is. My high school is a health inspector's nightmare. Absolutely *filthy* to the point of nearly throwing up. They're renovating it and all, but there are parts they're not going to renovate, and it's just disgusting. Couple that with all the other feet dragging through the water, and all the water drainage from the dirt places and all... and my feet having to soak for half an hour in my soaked shoes until I got home from the bus stop, utter yuck.

Assuming there was nothing bad in the water that is causing you a skin problem ... try some baby powder or corn starch on your feet.

Slather on some lotion and put socks on. Sleep like that too
Nimbus007
Medicated talcum powder.
TheChurchLady
Microwave them
