Did you realize that John Lennon's song Imagine is actually a song about The Communist Manifesto?

He said so himself. So the song is literally about asking to join the communist revolution. He himself "isn't exactly a commie" but the song is about it. Funny how so many people love the song and its message, and then go on to bash communism, not realizing Soviet communism is hardly communism, and most modern commies are either Marxist or Marxist-Leninist. I'm very Marxist, although I do share some Leninist ideas. But the song is definitely pure Marxist and now it's my favorite Beatles song, as it's a peaceful call to the communist revolution :D I suppose you could call it... Lennonism. :P Someone was going to make the joke.

Yes, but it's called Imagine and remains very theoretical.

Not really. You first have to be able to imagine something before you can turn your thought into reality. Inventors first imagine their invention before they build it.

Some parts of the song are easy to imagine, some people are already there, but the last stanza would need a plan:" Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger."
I don't think John Lennon knew how to reach that state.
