Why do people call people that don't think like them wackos? I don't do that. It is hard to understand why someone thinks differently when you do that.

Because her ideas are crazy and unfair. I don't mind moderates, or even some republicans. It's just that Ayn Rand is a wacko rightie that obviously does not give a shit about the people's rights.

Her prime issue is with government that becomes so huge it becomes totalitarian in nature. You may not agree with her but extreme ideas like hers usually comes with frustration and futility.

That was more Orwell than Rand. Rand was antisocialist as well as antigovernment. Orwell was the one that mainly wrote about totalitarianism without any particular bias to left or right.

If you really look at both of them you can see that there is some overlap in their gripes, it is their conclusion that is different.

Well yes--both complain about totalitarianism. But Ayn Rand often complains about socialism too which is why I hate her.
