I was JUST reading about this! This is the first time I heard about that drug and man, the effect was sooo bad and painful and disgusting!

They say it's a cheap high costs about $2 for a high, when a person is that desperate they might as well say their life is finished.

Then that is why it is popular. Drugs weren't like that when we were experimenting. The worst was maybe addicted or too high but this is just nasty.

Is it a new drug? Was this the first reported bad side effects of that drug?

They've been using it in Russia for awhile. Those side effects are very common, to lose a limb because the flesh rots away from the chemicals that are in it. It's new to the US, seems like it could be a way to kill off addicts if the flow of heroin is cut off.

And how are the dealers even making a profit at 2 dollars a pop? How long does the high last for?

I don't know how they make a profit, it may be one of those deals where people are making their own...codeine is much easier to buy in Russia than the U.S. so it would cost more over here. I'd think if there gets to be a demand for it there would be more home break-ins to steal it out of medicine cabinets.

I thought the effects of meth were as bad as it gets until I read about krokodil....it's a nightmare waiting to happen and it wouldn't surprise me how bad it will get.
