Did your life turn out the way you expected it to?

No, definately not.I thought I would be still married to the girl I met when she was only 17.
It ended after 29 years and 2 children.Thats a good few years ago and Ill never get over it. I am close to my children though and I have two grandkids.Im on my own now and I suppose like most people, I just get on with it.
I still hope for the future though and enjoy life in every other way.
It would be nice to have some good friends to share interests with.

I actually laughed out loud when I read that question. When I was a kid my dream life was to be married with children. I wanted to be a housewife and mama more than anything. I got the children at least. NOW...is it better or worse without the husband? I don't know. I love my girls though so I wouldn't change a thing.

No. When I was a senior in high school 5 years ago, I imagined that by now I would be highly successful, independent, with a great job, living in a big city, with an active social life. I'm SO far from that and I'm depressed because of it.

I'm evolving and learning as I go, but I'm sure just living is enough. It's not always about making money, partying or things like that, but the experiences that you have is what makes life amazing.

I still have time, but so far I am still short of some stuff I wished to experience throughout my life. You just never know what is just around the corner.....bc
