Well technically it was murder but i was self defense he was trespassing and breaking multiple laws on someone else's property. Plus it was in his garage not just a big plot of land IN A GARAGE. He knew that wasn't his property and more than likely up to no good

You can only shoot a trespasser if you are certain your life is in danger.

So he breaks into my property, then into my garage without my consent and im just supposed to let him go? no way he has no good intention at all he is there to steal something or hurt,Possibly Kill you and your family. plus Montana has Castle law (or doctrine for you Lawyers) which means he broke no laws while shooting the dirty little brat

Murder is still a murder. These laws are just stupid. These laws are just made for people who want to shoot whatever comes at them. It doesn't even have to be a life threatening situation.

So you would rather live in a world were we cant defend our selves from People who don't want to work and would rather cause $100's or maybe even $1000's of dollars in damage and stolen goods? And possibly harm your family (which remind you they had a 10 month old baby) then being able to get to them first with your means of self defense?
