Difficult to keep your eyes peeled when you're texting, or falling asleep because you're drunk, or can't keep your attention focused because you've had too much to drink or indulged in some other mood-altering behavior.

No intoxication is far worse. You don't have the option of putting down the intoxication like you can a phone. So your stuck in an impaired condition the entire time without choice.
