Do you think it's acceptable for parents to use corporal punishment as a means of discipline?

Look how things have changed since since whippings and spankings became taboo. I believe the days of the woodshed are over, and some kids never need corporal punishment..I think swats are acceptable. They can be very effective up to a certain age at which point the iron maiden or stocks would be in order.

Yes totally. I got whipped as a kid and I'm grateful for it. Being beaten is good for you.
