Do you have any phobias?

Was there a particular event that brought on the phobia, or did you always have it?‎

I had a trauma to my feet, growing up, my mother used my feet as a outlet for punishment. If I'd do wrong, my feet were beated or batted or broken or bent, stabbed or squeezed or burned, tickled excessively or had things dropped on them or cut. They know pain. And I live life like a skittish dog, terrified of things hurting my feet now. It is the quickest way to get me to breakdown, putting any weight on them. When people have eyes on them it makes me uncomfortable. I wake up at night if my feet happen to knock someone. I can't wear shoes for too long bc foot prints in shoes make me uncomfortable. Sandles don't happen. I'm done for life in this PTSD department. Nobody gets close to my feet. It's not even the act of the feet touching that's scary. It's the flashbacks that take me back to the age that are too vivid. I don't mean to paint everyone who comes in contact with my feet as a monster. But it's a phobia right. It's irrational.

Fear of the dark. Completely irrational. No idea what caused it.

I seen a lady on tv, addicted to stinging herself with bees. It was a form of acupuncture that was taken too far. :P - Are you afraid because you're allergic?
dave6879
partly because I'm allergic,
it's an automatic reflex from being stungs numerous times
mostly by yellowjackets - which are not actualyy bees but wasps
with honeybees, if I know they are there I can walk up and pet them without freaking out
as long as they don't fly up near my head i'm fine
