anyone been a foreign exchange student?

Im fifteen soon and from the USA. if anyone has been an exchange student out of the US i would like to ask a few questions! i'm thinking about Ireland because i am half Irish and i really don't want to learn a new language but will if i have to... I thought about Japan but i'm not sure i'm up for it anymore(not about the uniforms- (which aren't that big of a deal)- and food). i'm thinking Europe or Mexico MAYBE. i've learned a year of spanish so far so that will help. i've been thinking Ukraine or Sweden but anyones help will be greatly appreciated!!!

How about you pick a country that's safe for young females?
Which ireland? Why?
Japan is not what anime makes it look like and the language is a barrier already, so no go.
Europe is not a country.....
Mexico is not safe for a young foreign girl that doesn't know the language or anyone there. Spanish in high school is not enough for the real world.
Have you not been up to date with Ukraine?
I'd recommend Sweden out of all your choices, but the language and temperature is brutal

its not like im going to go by myself. i will be put in a home that they assign me to, so i will be safe, i didnt say i watched anime, i didnt say europe was a country, and parts of mexico speak english and the deal about the program is to not know anyone... im aware what is happening in Ukraine but i said i was only thinking, and asking for advice. thanks anyway...

And if u say u speak spanish i will be glad to test u how u are doing, remember that speaking with ppl is not the same when u go to speak in school, spanish grammar its a little bit tricky

I'm from Hong Kong and I went to Australia last year, to finish my last 4 years of high school. I don't mind it, it can be hard sometimes but also fun
