No, it would completely depend on the item. I carry a lot of sentimental value in the items I have and I don't see my things for what they're worth in cash or to someone else. I see how they're worth in my memories and my feelings. So if someone needed my baby blanket for their baby, I would just give them enough money to buy one. There is too much value in it for me to give it up.
