Be honest Americans, how often do the thoughts of the starving masses in third world countries cross your mind?

Shit I know if I went over to the areas where those oppressed are starving at the hands of their oppressors it would be like machine gun preacher all over again. Who's with me?

People don't see or hear and touch the effected people, therefore they cannot empathize with them. Not much anyone can do anyways. Their shitluck for being born to a poor nation...

We are interconnected Demer. While America's 'well-being' has the greatest impact (e.g. 2008) on the rest of the globe, the betterment of other nations is in the best interest of the US.
Better economies.. better economic partners, etc.
There is plenty that can be done. Don't be an American stereotype.
