Research, books, medical journals, scholarly articles, case studies, learn the history of psychology and keep up with current events, take classes on subjects that relate to the field, such as biology, neurology, sociology, anatomy, ethics, human behavior, aging, drugs, and you probably need to brush up on your APA.
