Would you sign a petition allowing teachers to carry weapons?

I saw this petition and felt it was a good idea. It would give teachers and school staff a line of defense against future attacks.

Certainly not they already have a pensil and a pointy finger to which I remember my teacher thumping her long boney finger into my chest cause I was a stubborn girl who wouldn't cry for her. They like a tear or two back then.
