Help with my Galaxy S3?

When my phone gets to a certain percentages like say 30 and I try to use the camera it turns the phone off, that includes snapchat, instagram, skype, oovoo, and just the camera, also if i manage to take any pictures the look staticy Any Ideas? I have a hunch that power save mode but i have no clue
