When you're being interviewed for a job, how do you answer the question "Tell me about yourself"?

Do you talk about anything personal or non-work-related, or do you only talk about your work experience and how it relates to the job that you're interviewing for?I have a job interview tomorrow, and that's always one of the most challenging questions for me.

"Well, I'm loyal, trustworthy and always look to go the extra mile to help ppl."
I said some bs like that I think. Anything that sounds good, nobody knows what it means.

Yes. The interview was for a corporate security position in my case. Idk if that's " professional" but it wasn't for like macdonalds or somthing. To me most of the questions asked in interviews r bs read off a script. As long as u can come across professional, that's good enough.
