Why do some men stay friends with abusive men?

I understand abusive men, and why they think they are justified. But their friends, who are loyal friends and know what they do and even help spread lies about the kidz and wife ~ I don't know why they do it.

Same reason some women stay friends with women who call police on men when they haven't been abused or secretly get pregnant to trap a man and get paid
