Why do some cheaters deny it to the end?
why is it that when a man or a woman cheats, even with all the evidence piled against them, they still deny it?

Because they can, its pathological. I had one guy deny for a lifetime that he did cheat even after the relationship was decades over and it was safe to admit it.
