Why do some cheaters deny it to the end?
why is it that when a man or a woman cheats, even with all the evidence piled against them, they still deny it?

i have suspected for a while now that he has narcissistci personality disorder. When i hear psych drs talk about it, its scary how much it sounds like my hubby.

Don't be scared. Just learn up on it and how to protect yourself. There's a lot of hoo ha about how evil they are, but they're human just like the rest of us, just different, and a bit hard to get along with in most cases. There are a lot of different kinds of narc too, that the dsm doesn't really differentiate between. Often I think narcissism has something else underlying it, either borderline or psychopathy or aspergers. I would guess borderline for your hubby. It manifests differently in men versus the stereotypical female case.

Yeah, I know you didn't say that, but if you read around inter webz, you'll find a LOT of advice to have nothing to do with them, with the implication that they lack humanity. I think there's a lot of overlap between aspergers and borderline. Most aspies are totally not borderline, and some borderlines seem very neurotypical (maybe are really neurotypical with post traumatic stress disorder) but I have the impression that the overwhelming majority of true borderlines are damaged high functioning, even subclinical, autistics.

oh I wouldn't doubt it. yes hes human. but he also, while he denies most of what he does, theres times when he clearly knows what he's doing, and he doesn't care. the biggest sign for me is that he obsesses about things to the point of neglecting personal relationships. he is very religious, but apparently he forgot that taking care of women and children are part of it. if its not related to billz or food he thinks its too american and that its shallow and fake.
