I'm praying for you. God has not given up on you.
There is something I want you to know today, and I hope you will open your heart long enough to hear it.
I’m praying for you.
Yes, you. The one reading these words. You may be smiling on the outside, but hurting on the inside. You may be carrying burdens you have never told another soul. Perhaps you feel forgotten, unworthy, broken by your past, or uncertain about what tomorrow holds. Maybe you have wondered if God even sees you anymore.
HE DOES.
But listen to the message he wants you to receive today. You are not invisible to Him. You are not beyond His reach. And no matter what your past looks like, you have not gone so far that the love of God cannot reach you.
Do you know why I’m praying for you? Because I want you to know the One who changed my life forever. I want you to know Jesus, not merely as a name you've heard or a figure from history, but as the Savior who loves you more deeply than human words could ever explain.
Jesus knows everything about you. Did you really think you could surprise him in any way? No. He knows you inside and out better than you know yourself and he still loves you with all His mind, heart, and soul. That's how special you are to him. He knows every tear that falls from your eyes. He knows all the things you regret. The tears you have cried, are numbered and placed in his bottle. He knows the battles nobody sees. He knows where you have fallen, where you have been wounded, and where you are struggling to find your way.
And still, HE LOVES YOU.
You don't have to pretend to be somebody you're not when you come to Him. You don't have to clean up your entire life before you approach Him. You don't have to earn His love by becoming perfect.
COME AS YOU ARE.
He knows you need help. He knows you need a Savior. That is why He came.
God loves you much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to save you, me, and the world, from our sins. Jesus willingly went to the cross, bore the penalty for our sins, and shed His precious blood for us. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day.
Why? Because God did not want sin to have the final word over your life. He made a way for you to be forgiven, reconciled to Him, and receive everlasting life through His Son, Jesus.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16 KJV
PLEASE, don't let another day pass without considering what Jesus has done for you.
You may have spent years searching for peace in all the wrong places. You may have looked every place but up, to Jesus. You may have tried to fill that emptiness and void, but now realize that nothing in this world, seems able to satisfy, but Jesus. That's the Holy Spirit calling you to Jesus. You may have believed that nobody could ever love you completely, knowing everything about you.
But there is One who already knows everything, and He loves you anyway.
His name is JESUS.
I cannot make you believe. I cannot open your heart for you. But I can pray that the Holy Spirit will draw you to the truth, that the eyes of your understanding will be opened, and that you will discover the beautiful gift of salvation waiting for all who put their faith in Jesus Christ.
And that is exactly what I am doing.
I AM PRAYING FOR YOU.
I am praying that if you do not know Jesus as your Savior, something within your heart will stir as you read these words. Not because of anything special about me, but because of HIM. Because He is the One who seeks the lost, calls sinners to repentance, forgives those who come to Him, and gives new life to those who believe.
Perhaps you have wondered whether God would receive you after everything you have done.
Listen to the words of Jesus. Don't let that devil fool you. He is the "father of all lies!"
“Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.” — John 6:37 KJV
Do you understand what that means?
If you come to Him in faith, sincerely seeking His mercy and trusting in Him, He will not turn you away. He will do as you ask. He will forgive you and save your soul. You shall then inherit the kingdom of God as His precious child.
You don't have to carry your guilt forever. You don't have to remain a prisoner of yesterday. Through Jesus Christ, forgiveness is possible. A new beginning is possible. A relationship with your Creator is possible.
And the promise of everlasting life is real.
My dear friends, I am not writing this to condemn you, argue with you, or make you feel that you are less than anyone else. I am writing because I care about your eternal soul. I want you to know the love, mercy, and saving grace of the One who gave His life for you. The One who shocked me by being real with me, coming to me when I asked, and saving my soul. That's the very best day of my entire life and I'll never forget it.
I want you to know that when this earthly life is over, you can have the assurance that you belong to Him.
So, if you have never received Jesus Christ as your Savior, will you talk to Him today? You don't need fancy words. Just come honestly, acknowledge your need for Him, turn from your sins, and place your faith in the One who died and rose again for you.
You might pray something like this:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I confess that I am a sinner and cannot save myself. Please forgive me, help me turn away from my sins, and teach me to follow You. I place my trust in You as my Savior. Thank You for loving me, when I did not deserve it or even love myself. Thank you for making a way for me to be reconciled to God. I give my life to You. Help me grow in Your truth and walk with You all the days of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.”
It isn't the words themselves that save you. It is Jesus Christ, and salvation is God's free gift of grace, received through faith in Him.
If you already know Him, perhaps today is a reminder to rededicate your life to Him, and/or pray for someone who doesn't know Him. It could be someone who is hurting, feels hopeless, or has never truly understood how much God loves them.
You never know what a seed planted in love may become, when the Holy Spirit works in a person's heart.
I may never know who reads these words. I may never know whose heart this touched or whose life takes a different direction because they stopped long enough to consider Jesus. But I pray you come, whoever you are. Today is the day of salvation or we know not what tomorrow may bring.
But God knows.
And that is enough for me. He knows exactly who you are and your exact needs. He waits to help you. That is his character, to do nothing but love you and help you.
I will keep praying that hearts will be softened, eyes will be opened, and lost souls will come home to the Savior who loves them.
Because you matter to God.
Your life matters. Your soul matters. Your eternity matters.
And if nobody has told you lately that there is hope for you, please hear me today:
THERE IS HOPE. HIS NAME IS JESUS!
I'm praying that you will come to know Him, trust Him, and discover the love that changed my life and can change yours, too.
May you find your forgiveness at the foot of His cross, your peace in His presence, your hope in His promises, and your eternal future in Him. There's always room for one more at the cross of Jesus. He promises to save.
I’m praying for you.
And my prayer is that one day, we will meet in the presence of our precious Savior, and every tear will be wiped away... that we will meet and hug and jump for joy, rejoicing with all the angels in heaven over one sinner that was saved. That's in the Bible.
Until then, may the Lord draw your heart to Himself.
With love, and with a prayer that you will know Jesus as your Savior.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13 KJV
Don't forget that He's waiting for you. Every day, for a very long time. Hoping you'll come to him, so he can do a new work in you and transform your life completely for the good. To give you that security and perfect love you've been waiting for.
I thank God, he turns no one away. I thank God for His saving grace and mercy when I needed Him. He's the only One that can fill that empty void in your heart. There's just no substitution for Jesus. There's Nothing he can't do for you, and wants to. He stands patiently waiting for you to invite Him into your heart and life, as your Savior. And if you've already done that, your journey...your walk with him each day, still continues until you go home and meet your Savior face-to-face, praise God! And for His provisions and for making eternal life in heaven, possible. Up there, there'll be no sorrow whatsoever. There's no crying or pain or death in heaven. Only joy, peace, and love.
Thank you Jesus for all you have given us, and shall provide in the future. Touch hearts today and let them know you love them so completely and unconditionally. Thank you for still providing for them, and working on their behalf. In the name of Jesus, I ask and pray, Amen.
