HEAVEN IS NOT A COURTROOM OF SHAME: IT’S A HOMECOMING!

“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee, is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” -- Zephaniah 3:17

Can you imagine standing in the presence of the One who loved you enough to die for you, only to discover that His heart toward you is not one of rejection, but of love?

So many of us carry the weight of past mistakes, believing that one day we will stand before God in shame, forever reminded of our failures. But, dear heart, God is not waiting for His redeemed children to come home so He can humiliate them. Jesus already bore our shame at Calvary!

Yes, our lives matter. Our choices matter. And Scripture teaches that our works will be examined. But for those who belong to Jesus, this is not a judgment of condemnation. “There is therefore NOW, NO CONDEMNATION to them which are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

And then comes this beautiful promise in Zephaniah 3:17: God rejoices over His people with joy and singing!

Stop and let that sink in. The God of the universe sings over His own!

He knows every failure, every tear, every battle, and every moment you wish you could do differently. Yet His grace is greater than your past, and His love is not measured by your performance or perfection. There's only one name under heaven that is perfect; and His name is Jesus. This is the core message of Acts 4:12 in the Bible, where the Apostle Peter proclaims that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone.

One day, when we see Him face to face, we are going HOME! Home to the One who redeemed us, forgave us, and never stopped loving us, even through we may have sinned many times. Yet, let us not forget that God's grace does not give us a license to sin. Repentance gives us a brand new start, but those who truly love the Lord, won't WANT to sin against Him.

God wants you to stop living as though your forgiven past is still your prison. Learn from yesterday, walk faithfully today, and look forward to tomorrow with Hope!

HEAVEN IS NOT A COURTROOM OF SHAME FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST. IT IS THE HOME OF THE REDEEMED!!!

And just imagine hearing our smiling Savior say, “Welcome home, My child! WELL DONE, my good and faithful servant!”

Father, let this Word go forth. Let the weary come home, In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

Without his sacrifice we could not return to his presence, But for us to be in the Fathers presence we do have to endure and repent daily.
