My understanding of the human species.

A human is a blank slate apon birth. its the conditions that were born in that create who we are. This is why our eras differe through time. Our species evolves with every generation born. We multiply, divide and split into cultures. We then create difference as the next generation of human learns in thier current environment.

As individuals we are a collection of cells and bacteria, our unity and way of doing things within our nations are referred to as a culture. A number of humans clumped together become a nation. An entity itself.

In the same way we are required to take nutrients from our environment to survive, perhaps our nations are required to take resources from other nations to survive.

As cultures intertwine there creates conflict or infection that challenges the ideologies of the culture wich creates change, minor or radical dependending on thier influence. These changes are either accepted or resisted in the petri dish of this planet we have labeled as humanity.

When some die, they are replaced by others and the national identity and cultural beliefs are trained into the next generation keeping them afloat for longer than a single body can store information.

So what is an individual human? If not just constituent part of a nation, a cell in a society built by those before us that we are bred to be apart of?

No, genes play a role

@Ferise1
blank slate by way of being.

You werent born knowing your name, country, weather you use a fork to eat or sit in a chair.

Our genetics states that we have the shape of a human. Fingers, toes, sweat glands etc.

Even though we judge our slight genetic differences that we require to procreate, we are still in the shape of a human. Ideologies are created by interaction with our environment. How we respond to our environment is based off emotion that some would argue comes from the soul.

@GuyWithOpinions no, genetics account for personality as well

@Ferise1 i would have thought you would say personality is spiritual, relating to astrology and the time of your birth.

I relate personality to the soul.

I believe that everything you learn is a product of your environment.

We can be taught its morally ok to bomb a village if we labeled the village as terrorists.
We can also be taught the war is morally wrong as well. It depends what our influences are as we grow.

The way you laugh at a joke or where you personal interests lay is an aspect of personality.

@GuyWithOpinions the personality lines up with astrology, and it’s often a reflection of a member of family, a parent, an aunt or a grandfather for example
