People often make the argument that karl marx didn't understand human nature.

I'd argue that accusation is more accurate to ayn rand. Especially with her strange black and white perspective on morality

Something I do consider kind of a white pill is that Socialism works well and makes people happy whenever elements of it are tried. On the other hand, Fascism burns itself out quickly. Genocide needs to be done in a depersonalized way because the people involved start to feel guilty.
It just shows that human nature is about cooperation, not cruelty.
