Established science .. confirmed by observation from space

Observation from space? How? Is the Space Station motionless relative to Earth? It is orbiting around Earth. There is no fixed point anywhere to confirm anything.

@sree251 Dude .. your "facts" are way off ..

The Space station is a fixed distance from earth while orbiting and can be seen traversing the night sky .. not possible if orbiting the earth in a fixed position relative to earth.
When you are able to get up, above the horizon, whether in a plane, orbiting space module (i.e. Apollo 13) or in the International Space Station, you can see that the edge of Earth is rounded. By watching as the Earth also rotates from that view, you can see that the Earth is a rotating sphere and is not flat.

When you are in the Space Station, what you are watching is not the Earth you are standing on. I am talking about the ground you are standing on. It isn't the surface of a rotating Earth.

@sree251 Uhm .. that makes no sense at all. Science might not be your subject, bruh.

Science is like religion. It asserts a lot of stuff that just isn't true.

@sree251 At times they get things wrong .. not with this.

I am not wrong either. I have never felt that I am living on a carousel spinning round and round. Everything is pretty motionless instead of moving at 1000 miles and hour as science says. You must have deep faith to believe shit like that.

@NotMy1stRodeo How about an argument to rebut my statement instead of an insult? This is a philosophy thread.
NotMy1stRodeo · 61-69, M
@sree251 Your "philosophy" is not based in fact. There is a reality you are ignoring .. and you can't even make cohesive statements for your position.
There is no point discussing further when you choose that path and act like I'm the issue here.

Philosophy is the examination of facts. Reality is based on a body of facts, real things that make our world. What is a fact? A thing you accept as true? If your world is real to you, then you don't have to question its authenticity anymore than a born again Christian needs to doubt the existence of God. If my statements are contradictory, show me. Point out my inconsistencies.
You are not the issue if you are engaged in inquiry and debate.
