Why would my modem start blinking like a Christmas tree and boot me off spontaneously at certain times during the day? It's brand new.

@katielass: yeah win 10 thinks my connection is unplugged but win 8.1 Pro and win 7 ultimate work just fine

I am a little surprised its f*ing up in a new computer that it probably came on though. It killed my old laptop after it downloaded without my permission, I had said no like 100 times. But it's on my new laptop and no problems. Knock wood.
