TIL Dropbox downloads a file called dbxsvc.exe which serves no purpose and isn't removed upon uninstalling

Dropbox refuses to make an official comment, leading many to believe that it is Trojan spyware, possibly put in place by a government organization. Users have reported that the file gains system access, perhaps through a rootkit, and that if one deletes the file, nothing in the Dropbox ecosystem breaks. Very fishy stuff.

restore your computer to before oyu down loaded it, this will take oyu to a back up with out the software
