Did you ever use Divining Rods to find water or metal?

I've never tried but my older brother is quite adept at it. according to him, willow branches are the best and if he holds on too tightly as he passes over the water, the bark will twist off in his hands.

I tried with brass rods and gotten no where

I've done it with rods, but never tried a limb.

@HumanEarth we were messing around in a building at work, rods crossed same place every time.
Finally figured out thats where the water line went under the building.
