what the video doesn't really mention is that cas-9 can do the replacement part even though the way it look he is like it's kinda random. No It's targeted and very precise (as far as gene editing is concerned). And they're getting more accurate, two years ago China exponented on dead embryos in the removal of a harmful blood disorder and found some success. Not at a rate that was ethical but nothing like that had been done before.
