What do you remember about the earlier days of the internet?
I remember before YouTube existed, how you sometimes had to download a video from the web and watch it via a separate media player like RealTime or QuickTime.

in early days email addresses were hard to get unless you worked for a .gov or .edu organisation.
Domain names were even harder, especially .com because the internet belonged to some higher life-form which disapproved of it being used for anything commercial.
