Should tweets be Iimited or filtered?

I'm seeing a lot of hate speech and disinformation on Twitter. Should that be allowed? Yes, there is freedom of expression so I suppose lying and screaming fire in a virtual theater is ok but somehow it just seems so wrong for Ann Coulter to beg for the extermination of the old and infirm in the name of capitalism.
