Why is the USA behind other countries for high speed trains, health care, and education?

It's become a third world country.

We love our cars. Many of us only need our cars, only a small percentage of the time, but have to use them, to get commute to work.

High speed trains, can significantly reduce stress on airports, and roads, and rail links, can significantly reduce stress on local roads and significantly improve commute time.

We're not making real investments in high speed trains and rail links. I live in a metropolitan area, where commutes, eat up 20% of our lives. Between Amazon, Microsoft, Costco, and the entire tech industry, throw a couple of lakes into the mix, and you've got a situation that could have been avoided, had rail links been implemented decades ago.

They're doing a rail link now, but it's too little, too late.

I would love for us to have a national healthcare system, and free education, but the majority of our citizens, think it's communism.
