Can't select boot mode

💻️"No bootable device Please restart system" is message I'm getting on a black screen fromy Toshiba Satelite l55. I've accessed the BIOS but I can't select boot mode. Can anyone help?

There's nothing bootable in it or on it? You need to install programmes and memory, hardrive? The whole thing has been wiped, fried perhaps by a current surge?

I dunno I know nothing about computers

@Kodoku Was it acting strange, or did it just happen? A few months back my computer started crashing at times when I would open basic things like Word or Chrome.
