Any audio engineers or audio hobbyists?

I'm looking for a cheap mic set up for broadcasting. I've looked through many reviews and have found the BlueAir Snowball priced at around $50. Many reviewers have praised this product. I'm wondering, since I'm going to only be using the mic for a couple of months before upgrading to a nicer setup, is there a cheaper option with the same quality or is this my best bet?

If you're upgrading in a couple of months then why not save the $50 and use it for that purchase?

@Archangel14 I have deadlines.

nope. the snowballs are pretty okay and your best bet.

@SW-User That's what I was thinking. I have a Shure SM58 in my studio but I don't want to have to continually move it between rooms.

@TheSeptikSkeptik yeah, moving mics and setting them up is a hassle. im always tripping on my own wires.
are you starting an ASMR channel?

@metaldog No, but it is for a Youtube channel we're building.
@TheSeptikSkeptik actually a lot of those guys go into detail about their mic setup
